How Our Process Contributes to Sustainablity
Save valuable
landfill space
Recycling 1 ton of PRT bottles saves 7.4 cubic yards of landfill space.
Save water
90% less water is used in making recycled polyester versus virgin polyester.
Save Energy
The energy saved by recycling a single plastic bottle is enough to power a 60 watt light bulb for 6 hours.
Greenhouse
gas emissions
For a single pound of PET utilized, energy usage and greenhouse gas emissions are dimensioned by 84%
and 71% respectively.
Recycle & Transform
Around 70% of the bottle weight can be transformed into finished textiles shirt = round 6 bottles； 1 blanket = around 20-60 bottles.
